The Furnace

But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold. (Job 23:10)

This scripture is hitting so hard right now, and my spirit is leaping not just because of the scripture, but because the timing is sufficient.

I just left the fire and came out of the furnace. I honestly don’t know if I have come out just yet all the way. But I do know that I am victorious. It feels like I am out. For good this time.

I had already thought I was in the process of the heat being turned up. The fire I went through last week, I could have never dreamed of. But I came out better than I went in. I am polished by the grace and glory of Yah. He is in me and leading me. He is mine and I am His.

Today, I just want to breakdown the scripture.

But He know the way that I take

God knows you. You are His baby. He formed you before He placed you in your mother’s womb. He handcrafted every detail of us all. From our outward appearance to our personalities, proclivities, etc.

He knows our thoughts before they even come inside of us. He knows us inside and out better than we do ourselves. The things we try keep hidden and secret from Him, He is waiting to heal, deliver, and break us free from.

He is in every detail of our lives. Every decision, every crossroads, every valley, every mountain. He is always present. In every sin we commit against Him, inwardly or outside of our bodies. In every thought of doubt and weariness and unbelief, He still looks upon us. And as we belong to Him; He still sees the righteousness of Christ in our love for Him, our zeal, our endurance, and our hunger.

He remembers when we were faithful and how we have stepped out before and trusted Him. He knows us because He created us. He knows where we are going because He is the one sending us.

He also knows exactly what we need and how it needs to come. He knows what we don’t need and how it needs to be removed. Our God knows us and the way we shall take to be the faithful servant He has called us to be.

When He has tested me

It makes me laugh because it says when, not if. It’s no doubt that as we live for Christ, we will be tested by the Father. There is no way around it, none! It comes because we must be proven in the fire. Or rather, if we are willing to be in the fire for Christ’s sake. If we are worthy of His blessings, to be used as a vessel for His glory, to bear His image.

He will test and He never stops doing so. With every word of promise, blessing, etc. He has a test. To see if we will still choose Him overall, especially when it comes to something we really want.

Are we willing to throw it away if it means we will use Him? Will we suffer to go through hard times just for His Name’s sake, and still bless His name? Are we willing? He tests us so we can be proved worthy, even though we are not, and He gives grace unto the righteous who belong to Him.

I shall come forth as gold

This is so true and the most impactful part for my spirit right now. Tried by fire, purified, and now out as pure gold with no smell of smoke. Perfect and pleasing in His sight because I look like His Son.

This is the same for all who go in the fire and endure unto the glory of Yah to be brought forth as gold, fine in the eyes of Yahuah. No spot, wrinkle, or blemish. A beauty unto Him, as sweet smell. Now being stronger, wiser, better, more durable, beautiful, and more.

Just more in Christ! Rooted, closer, elevated. Just more like Him! I’m speechless, I can’t even describe it, we are just more like Christ, making us closer to Him and our Father.
